About our Presenters:
Kasha Coombs
Outward Mindset Specialist Mountain West Investment Corp. Groundwork Leadership Institute
Kasha is a trained mediator and facilitator who serves as Mountain West Investment Company’s Outward Mindset Director. There she works within the community to enhance the power of seeing people as people. Prior to working in Oregon, Kasha worked for The Arbinger Institute, a global consulting firm where she supported clients and staff in implementing the principles into their daily work. She was first introduced to the content while at school where she earned a Bachelors in Conflict Resolution and Mediation. Kasha has been trained in conflict resolution and continues to be driven by the desire to help others resolve the conflict within their own lives. When she is not working, you can find her living out global adventures, hosting a gathering of friends, belting out show tunes, or outside enjoying the beauty of Oregon
Chris Pineda
Director of Groundwork Mountain West Investment Corp. Groundwork Leadership Institute
Chris provides perspective, consultation, and support to several of Mountain West Investment Corporation’s philanthropic endeavors. These include initiatives related to: turning the community outward, research and development for our philanthropic approach and sustainment, conflict transformation, and leadership development. In 2019, he began researching and building the foundations for Groundwork—an endeavor he now leads as Director. Chris is currently receiving a PhD in I/O Psychology. He holds an M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from the Creighton School of Law, and a B.A. in International Peacebuilding from Brigham Young University-Hawaii. Chris is also a trained mediator and facilitator. In his personal time, Chris loves the Lord, spending time with his wife and children, and being active. At the end of the day, he is a normal guy that loves a good joke and hates getting cut off in traffic.
